Umar earned his Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and Master’s degrees from York University, followed by his Juris Doctor from Western University. He is a Senior Associate with extensive experience in real estate law and has successfully closed over 2,500 real estate transactions.

Prior to attending law school, Umar was a high-level competitive shot put athlete, earning distinction as a five-time national medalist and fifteen-time provincial champion in Ontario.
